Flavour notes: Cherry red colour of good intensity and brick red tones. Aromas of jams, plums and blackberries with a hint of spices. Subtle smoky wood with notes of tobacco and leather give a complex aroma. This Gran Reserva is powerful and round on the palate and distinctly harmonious with soft tannins, balanced acidity and a long-lasting finish.

About this wine from

Aragón, Spain

Our Gran Reserva is originally from vineyards that were already cultivated by Romans, Visigoths, Arabs and Christians. Places of diversity and harmony. Because of her experience with traditional grape varieties in the region of Aragon, winemaker Marta Gimenez is recognised and respected. Wine is an expression of harmony and diversity - symbolised by the age of tolerance and coexistence (the so-called convivencia) in Spain and in these vineyards. The fruits of the old grape varieties Garnacha and Tempranillo form the basis for wisdom and balance, the Syrah component contributes the fresher fruit of youth. The harmony of all three grape varieties together from this vineyard produce a true "Vina con Vivencia".

Serving suggestions: At a temperature of 16 to 18° C with roasts, grilled meats or game (venison, wild boar) and with stews in the cold season. Enjoy our Gran Reserva as a tapas wine, with specially cut pieces of meat from the Iberian Peninsula; our Gran Reserva also goes well with various cheeses.
