Located 40 miles south of Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha lies in the heart of Spain. While the prestigious DOs of Castilla-La Mancha have more stringent viticulture and winemaking restrictions than the lesser Vino de la Tierra de Castilla designation, quality wines can certainly be found. Most commonly, these red blends are full-bodied with ripe tannins and robust fruit and spice aromas.
