This sweet, lemon-yellow Silvaner from Germany's Nahe region is fresh, juicy and full of character. Ripe, succulent apricot and bright, uplifting lemon lead the way, while gentle notes of crisp apple and soft, juicy peach add layers of depth to this fruit-forward wine.

On the palate, generous residual sweetness brings out the ripe apricot and peach character, while lemon and a touch of acidity keep everything lively and beautifully balanced. Soft and fruit-led in texture, with apple and peach providing subtle structure throughout, this is a harmonious Kabinett that showcases the full, juicy expression of the Nahe.

About the winemaker

Pieroth Blue

The Pieroth Blue Edition occupies a special role in the Heritage Line. The unique blue bottle reflects an interesting historical aspect of the Nahe – the home region of Pieroth. During times when the glass was formed locally, the bottles took on a bluish-green colour. This was due to the mineral element in the local sand – primarily Cobalt. This unusual glass colour gave the wine bottles of the Nahe region a differentiating feature even back then. Pieroth embraced the idea in 1976, commissioning a royal blue bottle that has become a classic and a symbol of Pieroth in many countries.
