About this wine from

Castile-La Mancha, Spain

Situated in the heart of Spain just south of Madrid, this region accounts for 40% of all Spanish wine production and is favoured by wine makers due to the low yield of grapes per hectare which results in premium quality. Modern wine makers now harvest earlier than in the past and ferment at cooler temperatures which results in wines which are fresher, lighter, more aromatic and of a superior quality to those of the 1980’s.
