A crisp and zesty wine
The Central Valley (El Valle Central) of Chile is one of the most important wine-producing areas in South America in terms of volume. It is also one of the largest wine regions, stretching from the Maipo Valley(just south of Santiago) to the southern end of the Maule Valley. This is a distance of almost 250 miles (400km) and covers a number of climate types. The valley offers ideal climate and soil conditions for the growing of grapes and this estate uses prephilloxera vines.
This fresh and fruity wine makes the perfect accompaniment to shellfish or light fish dishes. Because of its herby characteristics, it can match well with light dishes with green herbs, also salads or softer more sour cheeses such as goat’s cheese.
Today, the name Echeverría is synonymous with excellence and the wines are appreciated all around the world. The winery's performance is remarkable: the total capacity is 1.5 million liters, an impressive 2,000 barrique barrels are in use, and an in-house laboratory ensures constant quality control and assurance. But the real foundation for success is the family itself, with its passion for first-class wine. To this day, Echeverría has remained a pure family winery, where high value is placed on every detail of production. Because the name Echeverría commits to excellent quality from a long tradition.
