Golden Grape Wooded Chardonnay

Our Chardonnay is ‘wooded’ or ‘oaked’ in small French Limousin Oak barrels, maximising the leeching or infusion of the wine with vanilla and oak flavours.
The nose shows a great mixture of citrus, white stone fruit, some oak spice as well as just a hint of solids complexity. The palate is medium-bodied with great fruit intensity and texture through the mid -palate, with soft acid on the finish.

Chardonnay vies with Riesling as the world’s greatest white wine grape variety, responsible for all of the great Burgundies and equally at home in Australia.
