The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOP shows cherry red with a dark core in the glass. The nose smells of ripe sour cherries, plums and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, flavours of dark berries, sweet cherries and raspberries come forward. Supple, spicy and round, this Montepulciano has a balanced tannin content and a nice full-bodied finish.
